Real Madrid are eyeing the return of Cristiano Ronaldo after they beat Borussia Dortmund 4-2 at Camp Nou
Real Madrid have expressed interest in signing Real Madrid midfielder Cristiano Roldan.
The Bianconeri have reportedly been trying to sign the 28-year-old for some time and the Portuguese is believed to be keen to rejoin his former club, having recently undergone knee surgery.
Roldan is one of the hottest prospects in world football, having scored a goal and an assist in two La Liga games this season.
But his departure to Real Madrid, who he joined from Benfica in 2014, would mark the end of a four-year spell at the Bernabeu.
It is believed Real Madrid were keen to keep Roldanc in the fold until the summer of 2021.
Real Madrid are currently without an injury crisis and their first match in the Champions League this season was a 3-2 defeat to CSKA Moscow, but Roldán is expected to feature again this weekend.
“He’s the type of player we’ve been waiting for, we know he’s going to leave and he’ll be the one who’s going out there to score,” Mourinho said.
“So that’s the main reason why he’s in this position.”
