According to the survey, only 15 percent of expatriate Indians in London are employed, compared to 34 percent of British expatries.
The survey also found that expatriations in the US make a median annual income of $1,958.
Those who are non-citizens in the U.S. make an additional $1.5 million.
The University of Cambridge, a leading U.K. university, reported that the average wage for expatriated Indians in England and Wales is $4,600, compared with the UK average of around $8,000.
The average wage in London is $1 and a quarter times the UK wage.
The United Kingdom is one of the richest countries in the world.
According to the OECD, the average income of expat Indians in the country is $27,000 higher than that of British-born Indians.
However, the survey found that Indian expats earn less in the capital, where the median household income is $70,000 more.
